Harmony with Hexagons: A Bathroom Remodel with Sleek Tile and Classic Fixtures
Starting Fresh is Sometimes Best
We recently had the pleasure of completing a hall bathroom renovation for our amazing clients and now we are excited to show off their primary bathroom renovation. For months they had been sharing their primary bathroom with their children and occasional guests, so this renovation couldn’t have been completed fast enough! When this family noticed persistent leaks in their shower, they decided it was time for a refresh. We are thrilled for this opportunity to completely transform the space, providing a fresh start that our clients longed for.
A Pop of Color in the Tile Selection
Tile selection played a crucial role in bringing the vision to life. Our clients were drawn to a beautiful blue theme, similar to the recently renovated hall bathroom, but they also craved a touch of uniqueness specific to their primary bathroom. We meticulously curated a collection of tile samples to help them visualize the final outcome. Imagining how the tiles would interact with the natural light and the bathroom's size and layout was essential. Eventually, they chose three different tiles: a tall, blue-gray tile for the shower walls, a penny tile for the shower floor, and a hexagonal patterned tile for the bathroom floor. What makes this selection truly special is the subtle round and hexagonal design element that ties everything together harmoniously without overwhelming the space.
Custom Bathroom Vanities with Plenty of Storage
The shower is now the centerpiece of the room. With its sleek glass doors, it perfectly showcases tall, striking blue tiles, an overhead rain shower head, and elegant stainless steel fixtures. The new shower is a bright oasis, a place to unwind and clear your mind. What sets this bathroom renovation apart from others we've done is the inclusion of two spacious vanities. We made sure they had ample storage space, and we even raised them slightly higher than standard vanities, providing both practicality and a refreshing new look and feel.
Remembering to Keep the Character
We managed to preserve some of the bathroom's original fixtures, such as the stand-alone tub and the charming pocket door. This not only added a touch of nostalgia but also helped in managing costs while retaining the character of their home. For our clients, this space has now become a haven. As parents who previously had to share this bathroom with their children during the renovation, they now have a tranquil retreat where they can fully unwind and rejuvenate. We take pride in creating dream spaces for our clients, and this primary bathroom renovation is a great example of how reimaging one space can change your day to day life for the better.
