Building a Bathroom with a Functional Personality

For this project, we faced the common challenge of working with an outdated space that simply wasn't meeting our client's needs. The existing bathroom, which featured an oversized vanity and traditional tub setup, needed a complete redesign to create a more contemporary and functional space.

Focusing on Functionality

The first major update involved removing the outdated tub in favor of a modern shower configuration. This transition allowed us to create a more practical space. The decision to install a glass panel rather than a traditional shower door proved to be the right choice, making the space feel more open without reducing functionality.

Making the Right Choices

Our team chose every material in this renovation with careful consideration to create a cohesive look that maintained timeless appeal. The white subway tile walls provide a classic backdrop, while the multicolor penny tile shower floor adds that modern pop of color. Finally, the slate style floor tiles flood the space with a sleek appearance.

Fixtures that Bring Personality

The finishing touches truly brought this renovation together. Brass fixtures with mid-century modern flair added character, while the wood-toned vanity maximized space without sacrificing style. One of the most significant elements of this project is the backlit mirror, which eliminates the need for additional vanity lighting and brings a sophisticated ambiance.

Turning Around Dated Designs

With the use of space-saving solutions and carefully selected materials, we created a bathroom that feels significantly larger and more luxurious than its actual footprint might suggest. This project highlights how dated spaces can transform into something both beautiful and practical.
