As part of a whole-home renovation, this bathroom needed a modern update to match the rest of the house. The original design featured an outdated bathtub and surround, which the homeowners wanted to replace with a sleek shower and functional storage solutions.

To meet the homeowners’ goals, we reworked the tub and shower area to incorporate open shelving beside the new shower. These shelves not only enhance storage but also add an open, airy feel to the space. The redesign maximizes both style and functionality, turning an outdated bathroom into a sleek and practical retreat.

Design choices for the renovation included a mix of timeless and modern elements. The shower walls feature marble-look tile, lending an elegant touch without the cost of real marble. A playful multicolor penny tile floor adds texture and visual interest, balancing the sophisticated shower design.
The homeowner chose each finish and texture themselves to ensure the design aligned with their vision, ensuring the bathroom felt personal and unique to their style. The use of open shelving further emphasized practicality, keeping the design modern and organized.
